San Remo police are asking for community help with an investigation into a collision in Cowes on Saturday (August 21) at around 12.30pm.
San Remo police are asking for community help with an investigation into a collision in Cowes on Saturday (August 21) at around 12.30pm.
Police said a black Holden Capitva had been driving erratically on Phillip Island Road and collided with the victim's vehicle causing damage to the left hand side.
The driver of the Holden failed to stop and exchange details as is required under the Road Safety Act. The car was last seen heading towards Rhyll and will likely have damage to the right hand side of the vehicle.
Police are seeking anyone with dash cam footage of the incident or the vehicle in question to assist in their enquiries.
