HMAS Cape Woolamai - Freedom of Entry march

Real-time military history will be made in Cowes on Friday morning, when the company of HMAS Cape Woolamai undertakes a traditional Freedom of Entry march, and all community members are invited and encouraged to take part.

The military spectacle will be a sight to behold, with Royal Australian Navy (RAN) personnel marching in full ceremonial dress - replete with drawn swords and fixed bayonets - from the Cowes jetty to Berninneit.

The parade will commence at 11am at the jetty, and will mark an historic moment for both Phillip Island and the personnel of HMAS Cape Woolamai.

Thompson Avenue to be clear between 10.45am and 11.15am to allow the march to pass through.
