Hunted hits Cowes

Eagle eyed locals spotted some strange activity in the Cowes Transit Centre last week, with a film crew following a man dressed in black and a woman with a backpack.

The mysterious appearance turned out to be part of an upcoming reality TV show called Hunted, from the company that produces Married at First Sight, Survivor, Big Brother and MasterChef, among others.

The show follows 14 ordinary people who must go on the run and remain undetected for a period of 28 days.

On their trail is an expert team of hunters who use modern policing and security methods to find and capture the participants. The acting fugitives are not allowed to bring any funds and must not enlist the help of others.

On their own, they take on aliases as they do their best to become invisible amongst society.

When the Advertiser snapped these action shots from the car park and approached the crew, we were asked not to post any images to social media, which would give away the location of the person on the run.
