If it doesn’t rain, they pour!
The entire concrete slab in stage 1 (the theatre area) now poured at new Cultural Centre.
With a break in the wet weather, construction crews at the new Cowes Cultural Centre have cracked on, with the entire concrete slab in stage 1 (the theatre area) now poured.
In the amenities section of the building, ground insultation was completed in preparation for concrete, which is also now completed.
The preparation for strip footings below the stage in the theatre has been finished.

According to the project update page, the steel for the theatre area will be ready for fabrication shortly, while there is ongoing work on the electrical ground services.
GLT (glue laminated timber) columns are also expected to arrive on site this month.
