Someone once said that bodies could be disabled; yet dreams couldn’t be.

Have you ever wondered how disabled persons manage their living and what problems they face?

Are there any applicable solutions to limit their day-to-day sufferings?

Bass Coast Psychologist Jason Crestani has 27 years’ experience to ensure you are covered for the impacts of disability on daily life and how to overcome them.

Jason Crestani, NDIS psychologist can help you to:
* identify and work towards new goals.
* find relief from negative feelings.
* feel more independent.
* reduce the impact of anxiety and depression in your life.
* find new tools and techniques for coping with challenges.

For individuals with an NDIS plan, psychologists provide therapeutic supports under the line item 'Improved Daily Living' in the Capacity Building category.

Check that your NDIS Plan covers this line item to access the service.

Psychologists can help people learn to cope with stressful situations, overcome addictions, manage their chronic illnesses, and tests and assessments that can help diagnose a condition or advise more about the way a person thinks, feels, and behaves.

Jason Crestani conducts autism assessments, including for adults. Not many psychologists have the assessments for adults. He also conducts educational and IQ assessments. These formal test results, if eligible, can assess more NDIS funding for you to access more services long-term.

Every NDIS participant is unique. But often, their goals share common elements.

Psychology is a good example of a service that many participants and their Support Coordinators may not initially think is relevant for them.

They may be working on daily living and life skills, for example, but they are really struggling with motivation or may have difficulty with learning.

Jason says his services are about assessing participants’ strengths and working within their interests.
