PI Jazz Club presents Past Continuous (Ron Anderson & Friends)

The group appearing at Phillip Island Jazz on Sunday 21st August will be Past Continuous (Ron Anderson & Friends), The name Past Continuous identifies the band’s dedication to emphasising continuity in jazz: the era and style are irrelevant, as long as the music swings and is melodic. 

Ron Anderson leader of the band is one of the most talented reeds player in the country, but also one of the most underrated. His flute playing is best described as magical.
 
He is joined by some of the finest musos going around each acknowledged for their individual musical skills. The band comprises Ron Anderson on reeds and flute, Vince Hopkins on guitar, Rory Clarke on piano, Larry Keane on drums and vocals and David Galea on bass.
