Little things make a big difference.
With just one game remaining in the season, the Phillip Island U10 Pups enjoyed another beautiful morning of footy and put together a terrific team performance.
Ground conditions made things challenging, but the Pups worked hard and showed exactly what they’ve been focusing on at training – the important one percenter.
Quick handballs, shepherds, second and third efforts and plenty of communication were all on display, allowing the Pups to compete at a high level and play some great team footy.
The Pups now have one final game at Dalyston.
Best: Mason O’Connor, Anna Grogan, Julian Ryan, and Morrison Conway.
U10 Red
The U10 Red Pups took on Inverloch Sea Eagles at their home ground.
With some heavy rain before the match the conditions were slippery.
Inverloch came out strong, but the Pups fought back.
Both teams back lines had their work cut out for them.
It was neck and neck until the final siren with a great game played by both teams.
