The government has released a COVID-19 Home Safety Plan to help families as restrictions start to ease.

As well as reinforcing things the community is already doing – like washing hands and keeping 1.5m apart – the plan sets out the steps you can take to keep safe inside your home. These include regular cleaning of frequently touched surfaces, recognising the symptoms of the virus, and planning for potential illness.

Outside the home, the plan includes suggestions like keeping a record of where you've been or who you've seen and wearing a face covering.
