A Grade

A Grade brought the heat today with a strong 60–43 win over Nar Nar Goon.
The girls came out firing and never let the pressure drop, playing tough, disciplined netball right across the court.

It was a physical contest at times, but the team held their composure, backed each other in every contest, and controlled the game from start to finish.

The defensive pressure was relentless, while the attacking end capitalised on every opportunity.

A fantastic four-quarter effort and another great display of what this group is building together.

Plenty to be proud of Panthers, too strong when it mattered most.

B Grade

Killy Bass knew coming into the game that this was going to be a tough ask.
The girls were neck and neck all game.

Goal after goal the game was all tied up at half time then again at three quarter time and it wasn’t until the dying seconds of the game that Nar Nar Goon shot the winning goal.

A really strong effort by the girls, only losing by one goal.

C Grade

Another tough game against Nat Nar Goon going down 18-49, however there was a lot to be happy about as Killy Bass had a better start and were level at quarter time.

The girls were more patient and during stages threw less ball away and made less unforced errors.

The team just needs to work on consistency and getting more opportunities to score.

To the girls, credit that the team didn’t give up.

Game day award went to Ryah Maund.

D Grade

Bass started the game strong, scoring the first two goals and showing great intensity early.

A few missed opportunities allowed a very strong Nar Nar Goon side to gain momentum and take the lead early in the opening quarter.

Bass worked well throughout the match, creating plenty of turnovers and applying good pressure down the court.

Unfortunately, the team were unable to convert enough opportunities and Nar Nar Goon steadily extended their lead each quarter.

Despite the result, Bass continued to fight hard until the final whistle.

A great team effort from the girls against a very strong opponent.

Best on was Sarah.

U17

Going up against the Goon is always going to be a challenge across the board and this one was no exception.

The girls came out strong and at quarter time there was only four goals in it.
Killy Bass had to make some adjustments due to some injuries, but everyone stepped up and did the best they could under pressure.

The game got away from the girls; however, the team kept their heads up and learn from every game so that’s a win.

U17 girls will work hard at training and try and improve for next weekend against Tooradin.

The team have kept their composure this season during the good times and the bad and as a club we can’t be prouder of them.

Step by step Killy Bass U17 team will continue to grow.

U15

The U15 team faced a tough challenge against a strong Nar Nar Goon side, going down 21–44.

While the scoreboard didn’t fall the girl’s way, the girls never stopped competing and showed plenty of determination right until the final whistle.

There were some really positive passages of play throughout the game, with effort, teamwork and encouragement on display across the court.

Games like these are all part of learning and building as a team and there are plenty of areas to take away and keep developing.

Keep your heads-up girls, the hard work will pay off.

U13

Big effort from the Kilcunda Bass U13 team against a very strong Nar Nar Goon side.

The girls brought the intensity all game with awesome defensive pressure, plenty of hustle and heaps of those important little one per cent efforts that coaches love to see.

A special shoutout to Rylee Dunk who was best afield with a brilliant all-round game.

The scoreboard didn’t quite go the girls way this time, but the girls should be super proud of the way they competed against one of the top teams.

Final score: Kilcunda Bass 25 to Nar Nar Goon 35.

U11

Kilcunda Bass U11’s faced a difficult game against a strong Nar Nar Goon side, going down 38-2.

Despite the result, the team showed plenty of determination and continued to work hard throughout all four quarters.

The players displayed great sportsmanship and teamwork, never giving up against tough opposition.

Georgia Evans was named best on court for her outstanding effort and commitment during the match.

She worked tirelessly across the court, giving her all from start to finish.

While the scoreboard did not favour Kilcunda Bass this, the team will continue to improve and look ahead positively to their next game.
