Labor launches campaign for Monash

Jessica O’Donnell the ALP candidate for the seat of Monash in the coming Federal election, launched her election campaign recently, with an evening for members and guests at the Fig and the Bay in Corinella.

Sixty five people attended the evening to hear both Jessica and special guest, Shadow Attorney General, Mark Dreyfus, address issues and outline policies they believe will benefit this electorate.

Climate change being a key issue, Mark spoke of both the need for stronger action and the benefits and opportunities that will flow from that action. A lively Q & A session followed with both speakers canvassing pressing local community issues that have been neglected over recent years.
