Let the children play
Playgrounds now require check in with a QR code
From midnight last Thursday, playgrounds reopened across Victoria – with one notable change.
You will now be required to check in with a QR code.
The playgrounds are also open only for children under 12, with only one adult accompanying them. Adults must wear masks and cannot remove them to eat or drink.
Bass Coast Shire Council manages 47 playgrounds across the shire and said QR codes were installed in all playgrounds before the weekend.
However by Monday morning, the QR codes at the Erehwon Point playground in Cowes had either been torn down, or covered with tape, perhaps by disgruntled park goers.
