Congratulations to four local businesses, who have been nominated in this year’s Victorian Community Achievement Awards.
Girls on Board, Penny Lane Café, Phillip Island Strawberries and Mosaics by the Bay have all received nominations.
The Victorian Community Achievement Awards has six different categories, including Community Hero, Business Achievement, Leadership and Innovation, Customer Service, Community Group and Regional Service.
Girls on Board received its nomination for Customer Service, Penny Lane Café and Phillip Island Strawberries were nominated for Business Achievement, while Mosaics by the Bay was nominated for the Community Group award.
Phillip Island has had previous success at these awards.
In 2020, Mat Bowtell from Free 3D Hands was named Regional Achiever of the Year, as well as picking up the Leadership and Innovation Award.
This year’s nominated businesses will have to wait until November to find out if they will follow in Mat’s award-winning footsteps.
Category winners will receive $2000 in prizes and a trophy, which will be presented at an Awards Gala Presentation Dinner on Friday November 11.
