Mayor raises $45,000 for ambos

Cr Brett Tessari saw out his last week as Mayor raising an incredible $45,000 for the local Ambulance Service.

On Saturday, Cr Tessari hit the treadmill at the Wonthaggi Plaza to run as many kilometres as he could for the fundraiser, running 10kms in just under a hour.

“A big thank you to everyone who has supported this year’s Mayoral Fundraiser, held in partnership with the Rotary Club of Wonthaggi,” Cr Tessari said.

“Our aim was to raise enough to fit a CorPuls device in every Bass Coast Ambulance. I am really pleased to say that we raised $45,000 which is fantastic.”
