Movie Club returns
Phillip Island Movie Club is making a long-awaited return this weekend, after Covid restrictions put an end to monthly screenings.
On November 28 at 4.30pm, the club will present its second film for the year, the British biographical drama “Fisherman’s Friends” (2019).
It’s a happy, funny film to end this year of stop/start films.
The screening will be held at the Penguin Parade cinema. Doors open at 4pm and the film will start at 4.30pm.
There will be drinks provided by the Phillip Island Movie Club after the film.
“We hope you can stay and mingle with friends after the film,” Margaret Byrne, Club Secretary said.
Food can be purchase at the Penguin Parade centre.
Entry is by membership only, and everyone must be double vaccinated to attend.
