Newhaven road plans “not justified”

The Phillip Island Conservation Society (PICS) has described road plans for Newhaven costly "over-kill".

The proposed upgrade would see this section of Phillip Island Road transformed into four lanes, with two new roundabouts installed. PICS believe slip and turning lanes are a better option.
