Phillip Island’s Sam Bowtell is off to the Rubik’s WCA Oceanic Championship in Melbourne next month. Over four days, some of the best “speedcubers” from the Oceania region will compete in events expected to attract 1500 spectators and livestreamed to a global audience. The grade four Newhaven Primary School’s fastest time to complete the puzzle is eight seconds.
