
Pepper (a moodle) is living his best life with owner Julie, after being rescued from Canine Lifeline. Pepper is six years old and loves yoghurt.

Teddi is a true Aussie dog ... he loves vegemite on toast and long afternoon naps in his beanbag after a walk.

I hear ya! Sprocket is a Siberian Husky Shephard-cross, who just loves getting into mischief. She also loves to go for a swim near the Cowes boat ramp. "Who could get angry with that face," asks owner Brett.

This high-jumpin' fellow is "Four O'clock", an Australian cattle dog who loves to play with a hose. His unique name came courtesy of owner John's then two-year-old son.

Hello, Tayla is my name. My hooman takes me to the beach and to Blue Gum Reserve, where I get time to run around with my doggy friends. I love being adventurous.

This beautiful Bassie Boy turned 13 last month and attributes his youthful looks to eating a carrot every morning. Owner Kaye said sometimes Bassie Boy likes to bury his carrot for later, and one day spotted a rabbit grabbing his morning treat. A game of chase ensured and now the rabbit comes by every day. "The rabbit's not too worried, as he gets away easily," said Kaye.

Meet Vespa. He's a sociable boy, who loves playing with his good mates Buster, Ash, Nellie and Billie.
This snuggly little fellow is Remy, a lovable mini-dachshund. "All he wants is cuddles ... and sleepy time," says owner Simon.

This regal pair are Ruby and Bertie, two gorgeous corgis. Their proud owner Lynda tells us Ruby is excellent at herding chooks, while Bertie loves his belly rubs. "They are the best of friends, although Ruby, his big sister, is the boss."

We might be heading for winter, but say hello to Summer. Owner Margaret adopted the three-and-a-half-year-old Kelpie last Christmas. Summer loves chasing rabbits, and going out on the boat and while she's still a little nervous around people, she loves other dogs. Margaret is longing for the day the island has a fenced dog park, so Summer can play with her friends in a safe environment.
