No official Australia Day events this year

Bass Coast Shire Council has advised there are no official public events scheduled for Australia Day this year, due to Covid restrictions.

The Australia Day Citizenship ceremony will go ahead but is not open to the public.

The usual activities in the Cowes Town Square and Cultural Centre, presented by the Rotary Club of Phillip Island and San Remo have been cancelled due to Covid.

An Australia Day concert, Oz Day at the Daly, is being held at the Dalyston Recreation Reserve. The family-friendly event starts at 4pm and features live music, food stalls and children's activities, culminating in a 9.30pm fireworks display. This is not a free event - tickets available through trybooking.com.
