Phillip Island bowls
A beautiful sunny winter’s day made bowls for our 20+ bowlers very enjoyable today.
Phillip Island bowling club is happy to announce that Andrew Croxford from Tigerturf has officially handed over the new bottom green to the club.
It is looking absolutely resplendent and has a very nice cushion feel underfoot. It is currently running approximately between 15-15.5 seconds.
Next on the agenda is returning the outdoor area to a useable space and John Newcombe is on the job.
In attendance to represent the club where Ray Pepper, Wayne Barr and Sam Cachia.
Thursday, social bowls
A beautiful sunny winter’s day made bowls for our 20+ bowlers very enjoyable today.
Winners were Bruce Puncher, Glenda Grazules and Reg Excell with two wins and a +34 and the runners up on a count back were Lou Bellino, Murray Mc Climino and Marlene Puncher.
