Phillip Island Derby saw Red take on Blue Pups at the Kennel

U14 Mixed Blue

Battle of the Bulldog Pups in tricky heavy conditions.

The Blue team jumped the Reds early, kicking the first four goals.

For the next two quarters the Reds had most of the play but unable to convert accurately keeping the Blues just in front.

A tight last quarter saw the Blue team hang on from a fast-finishing Red by 15 points.

Best: Jasper Goodall, Cody Naismith, Rocco Archer, and King Biosvert.

Goals: Kai Demblydn 3, Max Robinson, Aiden Smith, Jasper Reynolds, and Cody Naismith 1.

U14 Mixed Red

Phillip Island Red Bulldogs played against the other Island team, Phillip Island Blue this past Sunday, at their home ground.

It was a fast-paced match, where both teams displayed their impressive teamwork throughout.

Unfortunately, the Red boys walked away with a loss.

Well done pups on a great game throughout, better luck next week.

U12 Mixed Red

It was another beautiful sunny day this past Sunday, where the Phillip Island Red pups played at their home ground against Phillip Island Blue.

Both teams showcased impressive talent and teamwork throughout the game.

The Red pups were able to walk away with a win this time.

Well done to both the Island teams on a great game.

Best: Ethan Cleary, Noah Hollings, Billy Kimber, Alfie Trew, Taj Henzen and Yadin Kershaw.

Goals: Noah Hollings Taj Henzen, Oliver Wright and Quil Edwards.

U12 Mixed Blue

The Phillip Island Derby saw Red take on Blue at the Kennel on Sunday, with plenty of mud making for some classic winter footy!

Red came away with a win after a hard-fought contest.

A huge congratulations to Fletcher Hennessy, Leith Cameron and Elijah Laughton-McConnon, who all celebrated their 50-game milestones.

Best: Levi Dedrick, Ryder Fisher, Sid Elliott and Hugo Joyner.

U10 Pups

The U10s had another fantastic morning of footy, with all their hard work at training shining through on the field.

The Pups linked up beautifully with some impressive passages of handball, including one great team play from the midfield into the forward line that created a goal opportunity.

A brilliant example of every player having an important role to play.

With just two weeks remaining, the Pups continue to show great improvement and teamwork.
