Plans to build a pedestrian crossing at Wimbledon Heights have been released, with Bass Coast Shire Council now lobbying the State Government for funding and a reduced speed limit.

Council planners have worked with traffic engineers to develop these designs for a crossing at the existing Wimbledon Heights point, which will involve widening the road on each side to build a pedestrian refuge in the middle of the road, at a cost of up to $300,000.
