Refused twice, Ventnor revised permit now approved

A planning permit for the construction of two dwellings in Ventnor - which was previously refused by Bass Coast Shire councillors and VCAT - has been approved after revisions.

Refused twice, Ventnor revised permit now approved
At the November council meeting, a revised permit for 30 Grossard Point Road was supported by a majority of councillors, but voted against by Island Ward councillors. In January VCAT heard the case, Ramage v Bass Coast SC, where VCAT refused the permit citing the council's new neighbourhood character and housing policies. Photo: Google Maps.
