Rotary supports life saving
The Rotary Club has presented a check for $2025 to WBSLSC.
The San Remo Channel Challenge swim event, organised by the Woolamai Beach Surf Life Saving Club, is not only very popular and exciting for participants and spectators alike but an all-important money raiser for the surf life saving club.
The Rotary Club of Phillip Island and San Remo is proud to be involved in the event and has been running the market for the past 15 years.
All proceeds from the market are donated to the club and demonstrates the support and commitment to the community and the important work of the Surf Life Saving Club.
This year the Rotary club raised over $2000 and Rotary President Rob Robertson was thrilled to hand the cheque over to the WBSLSC President Jason Close, and members of the Channel Challenge organising committee.
