San Remo Preschool has secured a $150,000 state government grant to upgrade its kitchen, storage areas and learning spaces.
San Remo Preschool has secured a $150,000 state government grant to upgrade its kitchen, storage areas and learning spaces.
Member for Bass Jordan Crugnale said the preschool has been at the heart of the community for 50 years, with a volunteer parent committee.
"This latest grant will go a long way towards modernising the centre's interior," Ms Crugnale said.
San Remo Preschool coordinator Chantelle Manallack welcomed the funding.
"This grant will support improvements to our facilities and enhance the learning environment for children, teachers and families," Chantelle said.
Previous local recipients of the Building Blocks Improvement Grant include Phillip Island Early Learning Centre and Bass Valley Children's Centre, as well as an outdoor area at the San Remo Preschool.
