Official fireworks across Bass Coast on new year’s eve are all family-friendly events, scheduled for 9.30pm.

There are no official midnight fireworks.

Cowes fireworks will run from 9.30pm to 9.45pm from the Cowes jetty. Enjoy the spectacle from the foreshore, at The Esplanade.

Coronet Bay holds a New Year’s Eve event, kicking off at 6pm and culminating in 9.30pm fireworks on the Coronet Bay Foreshore, Cutty Sark Road.

Inverloch’s 9.30pm fireworks are at the Inverloch Recreation Reserve, Sandymount Avenue.

A reminder to please keep pets safe during the fireworks, as many find fireworks extremely distressing. Dogs and horses may run away if they are frightened by fireworks.

Make sure your pets are secure and can’t escape or injure themselves.

If possible, domestic pets that are frightened by fireworks should be kept inside and not left alone.
