Seniors consolidate their season
Setting up a good contest all day with Phillip Island eventually winning 93 to Garfield 64.
Phillip island hosted Garfield at the Kennel this week, with both teams looking to consolidate their seasons and stay in touch with the finals race.
The first quarter saw a very even contest, with both sides moving the ball well and matching each other around the contest.
Phillip Island were able to create plenty of opportunities going forward, while Garfield responded every time the Bulldogs looked like gaining momentum.
The game was played at a high intensity early, with strong pressure from both teams leading to a very even first quarter.
