Seven surfers head to Australian titles

Seven local surfers have been selected in the 2025 Victorian Junior Surfing Team, travelling to Wollongong this week for the Australian titles.

The seven-day event will feature 180 competitors from across the country.
"Representing Victoria at the Australian Junior Surfing Titles is something truly special," said Surfing Victoria CEO Adam Robertson.
"Our athletes have put in the hard work, and I can't wait to see them rise to the challenge in Wollongong. I've got no doubt they'll give it everything they've got and do the state proud."

Local surfers included in the team are: Lillian Bassed (U18 Junior Women), Arch Rayner and Angus Kennedy (U16 Cadet Boys), Evie Lutz and Savannah Bennett (U16 Cadet Girls), Dusty Rayner (U14 Grommet Boys), Scarlett Rennie (U14 Grommet Girls).
