Access and inclusion grants

Applications are open for Bass Coast Shire Council’s Building Disability Inclusive Businesses and Community Organisations Grants. Up to $1000 is available to businesses and community organisations. Applications close 5pm on June 30.

Grants focused on mental health and wellbeing

Applications are open for Australia Post’s 2022 Community Grants program. Not-for-profit groups across Australia can apply for grants of up to $10,000 to support projects to improve mental health and wellbeing in local communities.
Applicants close at 11.59pm on July 3. auspost.com.au/grants.

Volunteering grants

Applications are open for the Emerging Stronger grants program with grants of up to $80,000 open for projects to re-engage volunteers, broaden the volunteer base, and strengthen volunteering in local communities. To be eligible applicants must have an established partnership or network that enables activities to start immediately.

Sports club grants

Grants of up to $2000 are available through the Emergency Sporting Equipment Grants Program to help replace essential equipment lost through fires, theft and other setbacks.

Scam warnings

Victoria Police has issued warnings about several scams currently operating in the state.
If you receive a phone call requesting personal information or payment from a person representing themselves as a government agency, do not respond. Hang up and call the agency back through a publicly listed phone number.

Similarly, if you receive a call from someone claiming to be a mobile phone company, requesting you download an application to your phone, hang up. Call the company back on a publicly listed company to check.
