A short march led by piper Dave Barr will herald a particularly significant Anzac Day commemoration in San Remo this year.
The march and service at the Cenotaph will go ahead outside despite any adverse weather.
Relatives and descendants of those who served are welcome to march, but please respect the right of veterans to be in the lead.
Gather at the far end of the car park for a 10.30am start.
Students from Bass Coast and Newhaven colleges are guest speakers for the event.
The penultimate item on the commemoration program will be the unveiling of a new plaque on the Cenotaph by two veterans of Afghanistan.
The plaque honours those who served in Malaya, Afghanistan, Iraq and East Timor.
"Those veterans who put their life on the line in later conflicts need to be recognised," Vietnam veteran John Methven, who arranged the plaque said.
"Having two younger vets perform the unveiling is a tangible expression of the Vietnam veterans' refrain: Never again will one generation of veterans desert another."
The unveiling will be followed by a rendition of the 1989 song More Than a Name on a Wall.
Piper Dave will then play a lament as wreaths/flowers are laid by those wishing to do so.
Refreshments will be served afterwards at the San Remo Hotel.
