Feeling the pinch with electricity prices?

There are some things you can do to help cope with the rising power costs.

If you hold an eligible concession card, there’s still time to access the $250 Power Saving Bonus from the state government. Simply visit the Victorian Energy Compare website to find a better deal, before the end of the month.

The government is also offering low-cost and free energy upgrade products including energy efficient lighting, door and window sealing and efficient hot water and heating systems.

Rebates of up to $1400 are still available for installing solar panels, as well as interest free loans and a $1000 rebate for installing solar hot water.

Solar battery rebates are also available and businesses can get up to $8500 off the cost of installing a solar system.

Find out more about solar rebates at solar.vic.gov.au. For energy saving information go to www.victorianenergysaver.vic.gov.au.
