Indigenous titles at Bells

Congratulations to island surfer Tyler Duell who came fourth in the Junior Boys category of the Australian Indigenous Surfing Titles at Bells Beach on the weekend.

Tyler also competed in the Open Men's category.

The Junior Boys was won by Charlie Chisolm (Torquay), while the Open Men's was won by Landen Smales (Noosa Heads), who also took out the Men's Longboard.

Open Women's champion was Lehaini Zoric (Byron Bay) who also won the Junior Girls, with the Women's Longboard won by Melissa Combo (Bundjalung NSW).

Rhys Collins from Red Hill won the Masters Men, while Byron Bay's Kirsty Zoric took out the Women's category.

The Over 50 Men's was won by Jay McKenzie (Cronulla NSW).

Zac Maloney (Killarney Vale, NSW) was honoured with the Community Spirit Award for his uplifting attitude and consistent encouragement of fellow competitors throughout the event.
