In a case of beginner’s luck, novice bowlers Gerard Munnink and Bob Wolstenholme not only reached the final of a ten pin bowling match last week – but “to our surprise we won it”.

“We beat a young side and we are a good example to all the oldies out there to get up and have a go at an activity,” Bob said after the match at Phillip Island Ten Pin Bowling.

Bob, 72 and Gerard, 69, were joined in the final by younger team mate Luke, in his mid-30s, who has had experience in bowling.
