The girls enjoyed their last home game for the year against the Giants in pleasant conditions.
The girls were excited and pumped but the Giants got a jump on them in the first quarter.
They couldn’t get back with them but stayed level for the rest of the game.
It just wasn’t their day and no matter how hard they tried things just didn’t go their way and they went down by 10.
COR game day award goes to Abbey.

D Grade
Off the back of a win and a bye, the girls were refreshed and ready to improve on the final score from the last time the two teams met.
It was a fierce contest from the first whistle with strong defence from both teams.
Korumburra capitalising on every turnover was the difference and they came away with the win.

Best: Casey Bartlett.
U17
Not the best start to the game and the girls had all good intentions to take it up to the Burra team.
The girls had some really good moments but unfortunately, they couldn’t keep up with the ever-improving Burra side.
Their accuracy in the ring shooting goals was always going to be hard to shut down but they did their best and won the last quarter regardless of the scoreboard.
One to go and then they are set for next season.
Score: Korumburra-Bena 47 def KB 31.
Best: Savannah and Maisie.
U15
What a fantastic result from the U15 girls.
Back home against Korumburra-Bena, the girls came away with a brilliant win.
This group has shown so much growth across the season.
They’ve had some tough games, taken on some of the strongest sides in the competition and continued to fight, learn, and improve every single week.
The confidence, teamwork, and determination that the team is seeing now is a credit to the girls and how far they’ve come together.
With just one home-and-away round left, there’s plenty for this group to be proud of.
Keep pushing right to the end, girls.

U13
Kilcunda-Bass U13s took on Korumburra this week and came away with a commanding victory.
The girls came out of the gates firing, piling on the goals in a dominant opening quarter.
The second quarter was a slower affair as they took the foot off the gas a little, but the response after half-time was exactly what they were looking for.
With a renewed focus on team-first netball, the girls lifted their intensity, worked hard for one another, and produced some fantastic passages of play.
It was great to see them sharing the workload, backing each other up and playing with purpose right through the second half.
A really strong team performance and another great step forward from the group, well done, girls.
