It was a busy night for local SES crews after severe storms swept across the island and surrounds yesterday.
Phillip Island SES responded to over 30 call outs, mainly for trees down, with Unit Controller Alan O'Connor saying Coghlan Road was one of the worst affected areas.
The San Remo SES unit received 13 calls for assistance, including trees down and building damage.
The crews worked through the night and into Friday morning, with San Remo SES reporting it took 11 members over 60 man-hours to get through all the calls.
