Thrilling qualifying finals at Leongatha for U14 junior footy
The Dogs dominated the final term, kicking six behinds, but it wasn’t enough.

The Dogs fell agonisingly short against Leongatha, going down by one goal after a determined performance.
Down 3–1 at quarter time, the Dogs dominated the second term, creating plenty of opportunities.
They couldn’t convert, kicking seven behinds.
The team continued to control the game in the third quarter, with Cody kicking their first goal.
The Dogs dominated the final term, kicking six behinds, but it wasn’t enough.
Despite having all the play, the Island went into the final break eight points down.
Unfortunately the team lost by only a goal, however have another chance next week to still make the Grand Final., kicking six behinds, but it wasn’t enough.
The team should be incredibly proud of an amazing year, showing heart, teamwork, and determination.
