TIDAL Seafood Festival, San Remo

The TIDAL Seafood Festival is a three day celebration of San Remo's fishing history.

It kicks off with a gala dinner on Friday night showcasing the very best of Bass Strait seafood.

A full program of activities is planned throughout Saturday. With a huge marquee set up on the foreshore, in which many of the demonstrations and activities take place, the festival will go ahead rain or shine.

There will be fish filleting demonstrations by Bass Strait Direct and the San Remo Fisherman’s Co-op as well as cooking demonstrations from local chefs.
A great array of local food and wine stalls, fishing stalls and competitions, live music, a huge kids area with kids’ activities and free face painting are on offer. The popular Deckies race returns, as well as the Blessing of the fleet.

On Sunday, there's a clean up morning, market stalls and an afternoon of entertainment in the foreshore marquee.
