End of holiday traffic makes for slow trip off Phillip Island.
As holiday makers pack up and head home, January 2 is proving to be a busy day on the island's roads.
By 10am, traffic was already crawling at Cape Woolamai and across the bridge.
Anyone planning on heading off the island is advised to allow extra time and make sure you have plenty of water, with temperatures in the high 20s.
