U10 Blue battle it out against Leongatha
This week's junior footy reports.
The 'Bluedogs' played a sensational game against Leongatha this week.
Leongatha is a top side and our team, led by Captain Ethan, equalled them in pressure and hard tackles.
The first quarter was a ripper, Leongatha led hard but with some excellent link ups by Elijah, Taj, Ethan and Jasper, our doggies kept it to a low scoring quarter.
The second and third quarters saw the Bluedogs continue the pressure to Leongatha's goal square with Aria taking a fantastic mark and clearing the ball towards our end.
Jett, Jackson and Archer demonstrated tackle pressure and Billy's kicking was right on target.
We held Leongatha to only one goal and made it really hard for them with some great marking by Jye.
The last quarter was owned by Krackers who tackled with bravery and William getting in to clear the ball.
Awards this week go to Billy Easton, Ethan Cleary, Taj Ransom, Jett Fawaz, William Laughton-McConnon and Jasper Goodall.
