U10 Blue's tough it out in wintery conditions

The true test of champions is how well they do in the freezing cold conditions in Gippsland on a Sunday in Winter.

Our Doggies did not disappoint.

Led by our Captain Jasper, the team worked hard to keep the pressure on and drive the waterlogged ball forward.

Kick outs from the pack were well targeted, with Alfie and Jet holding ground and Ryan kicking out in defence.

Goal of the week goes to Oli, who swept the ball up in the square and with quick thinking under pressure scored.

All the team stood out this week as the conditions were terrible.

They played with courage and determination (as did all the adults cheering them on).

Awards went to Kash, Oliver, Noah and Ryan.
