Positive case and wastewater concerns
A new case of Covid recorded at Ventnor, bringing the Bass Coast total to four.
UPDATED: THURSDAY, SEPTEMBER 30, 8.25am:
Gippsland Region Public Health Unit has now confirmed there is one positive COVID-19 case on Phillip Island, at Ventnor.
However the overall number of cases in Bass Coast remains at four.
GRPHU advised one new case was identified yesterday, and one existing case was cleared.
"There are no new exposure sites associated with the cases and the existing Tier 2 Exposure Sites have now been cleared," GRPHU advised.

Health authorities remain concerned that positive COVID-19 viral fragments continue to be detected in wastewater on Phillip Island and in the San Remo area.
The Chief Health Officer's daily update states the period of interest is now September 20-27, with "multiple repeat unexpected detections" recorded during that period.
Anyone who lives, works or has visited Phillip Island or San Remo is urged to get tested if they experience even the mildest of symptoms. Symptoms include fever, coughing, sore throat, fatigue and shortness of breath.
The Cowes drive through testing site at the Transit Centre is open 9am - 3pm every day, while the Wonthaggi Hospital drive through site is open 9am - 5pm. Any changes to opening times or days will be posted on the Bass Coast Health Facebook page.
