Wet and windy for KB junior footy

In wet and windy conditions, Dalyston got off to a good start kicking the first two goals of the game.

Kicking against the wind in the first the boys weren’t able to score.

The second quarter was back and forth giving Bass a narrow lead heading into halftime time.

The third quarter the boys were able to keep Dalyston to one goal.

Coming into the last quarter five points down the boys played hard but weren’t able to kick a goal.

Kicking seven points in the last gave the team a two-point win.

Great team effort.

What a way to start a Sunday morning.

It was a cold, wintry day with a relentless wind that made conditions tough for both teams.

The effort from every player was outstanding, they worked hard for each other, competed fiercely at every contest and never stopped.

Whether we had the wind at our backs or were battling against it, the team kept their focus and showed great resilience.

It's hard to ask for any more than the commitment and determination shown each week.

Well done on a terrific team performance.

The team all should all be super proud.
