The gale force wind and rain last week meant there was little down time for local CFA and SES crews.

On Friday night, the Phillip Island Fire Brigade’s “safe working at heights operators” helped the local SES unit fix a loose roof at a local Cowes business.

The SES reported a busy day and night, with multiple call outs to fallen trees and building damage.
