Winter’s warmer at the Westernport

Keep the cold at bay this winter and treat yourself to a delicious meal at the Westernport Hotel in San Remo.

Launching a new winter menu, with a focus on local, seasonal produce, the hotel has plenty to tempt the taste buds … as well as keeping the family budget intact.

Alongside the main menu, the Westernport has a series of special menus, whatever day of the week you feel like eating out.

Kicking off with the popular Wednesday Parma night.

We’re talking hearty – parmas made from real chicken breast or from eggplant, topped with homemade Napoli sauce, and served with chips for $15. And you can wash it down with a $6 schooner of Stone and Wood pacific ale.

Thursday night is Momo night – eight delicious dumplings for $15 and again, the special Stone and Wood pacific ale $6 schooner.

Our older and wiser residents will love the special seniors package, available Wednesdays through to Sunday – two courses for $19 – a soup entrée then a choice of three mains.

Wednesday is hump day – so keep your work week moving with a fast and fabulous lunch. Wednesdays through the Friday, the Lunch Express menu lets you choose from a hearty curry or a fresh salad, steak or fish, for a $20. Your wallet and your stomach will love you!

As well as these great meal packages, the regular menu is always on offer, which includes Gippsland beef, pork ribs and seafood fresh off the boat.

And have we mentioned the specials board that runs every day, or the dessert selection? Plus there’s a Kids menu for the Under 12s and some treats for those four-legged kids who like to dine out as well.

All menus include gluten free and vegetarian options, with vegan options also available on the regular menu.
