Phillip Island’s U17 girls took on Cora Lynn at Cowes on Saturday in a hard-fought final round contest.
The Island girls battled throughout the four quarters, trailing by just two goals at half-time before Cora Lynn managed to extend their lead after the break.
Phillip Island continued to fight right to the final whistle, with a strong eight-goal final quarter.
Cora Lynn ultimately took the win, with just one goal separating the sides at the final siren.
A fantastic, competitive game to finish the home-and-away season.
