A stirring Breakers win for U14 Penguins
Phillip Island U14s won their semifinal against Drouin.

Phillip Island U14s won their semifinal against Drouin on Sunday at a sun-drenched Bellbird Park.
It was a highly entertaining and well-played match.
Both teams played well in all three phases of the game, with a lot of connection between defence, midfield, and attack.
Drouin scored first and went in 1-0 up at half time.
In the second half, the game followed the same pattern as the first, Angus and Levi winning balls in the middle, Mitch, Arthur, Issy and Lottie keeping it tight at the back.
The big change was Harry getting into a deeper role, but still driving forward.
He fed his winger, Flynn, for Island’s first goal, and scored another couple from moves that involved plenty of teamwork.

U12A Penguins
It was the semi-final that saw the second place 12A Penguins, who had a sensational season, playing the third place Drouin Dragons.
It was a warm Saturday in Drouin and the Penguins played hard using the wings to get around Drouin’s tall and fast defence.
While Phillip Island had a few early chances it was Drouin who scored twice before half time.
The Penguins didn’t give up but came out pushing for a goal.
The entire backline worked very hard to stop many Drouin forward plays.
While the Penguins didn’t come out on top they showed great spirit and teamwork and each of them have grown so much this year, there is a lot to look forward to with this group.

U12 Girls
The Phillip Island Breakers U12 girls took on Inverloch in a hard-fought semi-final, with both teams determined to secure a place in the next stage.
Inverloch started strongly, scoring within the first two minutes.
The Breakers responded with determination, with Kiana McIntyre, Marlie Wilson and Aubrey Sherburn working tirelessly in defence to keep Inverloch at bay.
Despite their efforts, Inverloch added a second goal before half-time.
The second half saw the girls return with renewed energy, and their persistence paid off when Olive Moule found the net in the 36th minute.
The goal lifted the team and gave them hope of a comeback.
An unfortunate own goal saw Inverloch extend their lead, finishing the game with a win.
Despite the result, the girls can be proud of their determination, teamwork, and resilience throughout the season.
They will be back stronger next year.
