C Grade

D Grade
The Island’s D Grade faced a tough match, losing to Garfield by 20-points.
Garfield's strength in the midcourt positions and consistent scoring from their goalers proved too strong for the Phillip Island girls.
Despite the loss, standout performances came from Phillip Island's Brodie in midcourt and Alicia in goal attack, both displaying skill in their respective positions and earning them best-on-court awards.
The girls are looking forward to a rematch against Garfield later in the season.

U17s
This match was set to be anyone’s win, with Garfield sitting just under Phillip Island on the ladder.
The first quarter set the tone for the match – high energy and fast paced.
Phillip Island were able to take the first four goals, but this didn’t last long with Garfield creeping up and maintaining two-points behind.
Great availability to the shooters (Meika White and Matilda Walton) by wing attack (Matilda McKenna) and centre (Maya Huther).
The second quarter saw Garfield take more goals but fortunately for the Island they remained ahead.
By the third quarter Phillip Island had made their mark and got right in front.
Great defence and turnovers by goalkeeper, Isla Walton and goal defence, Sophia Hungerford.
By the fourth quarter the Island were well and truly on the way to victory.
Wing defences, Abby Pappas and Jazz Mau kept the midcourt nice and tight, providing great defence to their opponents.

U15s

U13s
The Island U13s played at home on Saturday, taking on the Garfield Stars.
The courts were slippery and it was all force as the girls led 5-4 in the first quarter.
Kate’s skills were fantastic in the centre and Frankie was ripping up the goals as goal shooter.
By half time, the girls were trailing by three points and Garfield began to take their control.
The third quarter saw the Island only trailing by one point – it started to look promising again.
Unfortunately, it was too late and the Island took the loss by three points.

U11s
It was a great match played at home for the Island’s U11 girls against Garfield, they displayed once again, strong teamwork and sportsmanship.
After an even first quarter, the girls dominated with a win.
Awards: Frankie for her pinpoint passing and April for her strong rebounding.
