Phillip Island: 41 def by Warragul Industrials: 55.
It was a beautiful and sunny day to start the season. Unfortunately, B Grade had a few players away so the team line up looked a little different.
The first quarter showed this as Warragul took it away and Phillip Island found it difficult to connect down court.
With each quarter the girls improved and never gave up.
Throughout the second quarter Warragul were still a little stronger, however the third quarter was even scoring, with the island going on to win the final quarter.
The team this year has a few young guns stepping up from the juniors and are lucky to be led by more skilful and experienced players.
An awesome debut for Aisha Hibbert and Isla Walton playing their first ever senior games. Keep an eye on this team as they develop throughout the season.
