Breakers U12 Girls celebrate nail-biting win.
The spectators were on the edge of their seats until the final whistle.
U12 Girls
The Phillip Island Breakers U12 girls battled the Drouin Dragons to a nail-biting victory.
Trailing 0–2 at half-time, the Breakers came out fighting in the second half and showed incredible determination.
Defenders Aubrey Sherburn, Laylah Murtagh, Marlie Wilson and Kiana McIntyre worked tirelessly to keep the Dragons at bay.
Taylah McDonald, Reegan Welsh, Madeline Maxwell and Peyton Cairnduff drove the ball forward, creating opportunities for Olive Moule and Chelsea Chambers.
Olive opened the scoring early in the second half and went on to score four goals, including one right on the final whistle.
Chelsea Chambers also found the back of the net.
With the spectators on the edge of their seats until the final whistle, it was a fantastic team effort, with every player supporting one another, working hard, and contributing to a memorable comeback victory.

U12B Sharks
The Sharks travelled to Drouin on the weekend to take on the Yellow Dragons.
With a few changes to the usual line-up, the team took some time to settle into unfamiliar roles.
Just before half-time, Zac produced a brilliant goal from deep in the back half, catching the opposition by surprise.
With the Sharks fired up, just two minutes later George spotted a narrow opening and took his chance, scoring a spectacular goal and his first of the season.
His effort earned him an undisputed Man of the Match, with the roar from his teammates heard across the pitch as they celebrated with him.
The second half saw the Sharks work tirelessly, creating plenty of opportunities but unable to add to the score, finishing with a well-deserved victory.
With finals on a knife edge, the Sharks are ready to bring their best for the final games of the season.

U14 Stingrays
The sun was high, as too was the energy as Phillip Island took the pitch one man down against the top team, Wonthaggi.
In the first fifteen minutes both teams were hustling hard with the play evenly swinging from one end of the pitch to the other, quickly resulting in a one all scores.
Phillip Island’s goalie Declan worked tirelessly defending incoming goal attempts from Wonthaggi.
Although every player put in 110 percent upon the final whistle Wonthaggi had the win.
Manny F won Best on Ground after his epic defence, courageously putting his body on the line multiple times to stop the ball nearing the opposing goals.
Well-done to all the players and the fabulous coach Jake.

U17 Mixed
What a game from the Penguins.
After losing 1-5 to Drouin the first time they met, the team came into Saturdays match ready to fight and that they did.
The Penguins started strong and scored in the first half showing great teamwork and determination.
Drouin came back in the second half, but the Penguins kept fighting until the final whistle.
James at midfield was a machine setting up some great attacking opportunities and keeping the Penguins moving forward.
Judd was outstanding in goals making some incredible saves that prevented an even bigger scoreline.
The defence was brilliant staying strong and doing everything they could to keep Drouin out.
The final score was disappointing but what an improvement.
Great teamwork and determination team.
