Under 13
Finals jitters were clear in the first quarter and a few fumbles meant the girls were down by five at quarter time.
The under 13 girls came out in the second quarter with the energy and passion and fought for every possession, managing to bring the gap back to two goals.
The second half was neck and neck all the way through.
With each centre pass it was exciting and nerve wracking as both teams were truly fighting for every goal, the atmosphere was intense and at the end of the third quarter there was only one goal in it.
The girls put all their training to use and really showed their skills on the court, but the outcome just wasn't what they wanted in the end.
In the last few minutes, the game felt like it was slipping through their fingers and in the end went down by three goals.
The team worked so hard and the improvements in their team game as well as individual skills has been so amazing.
Lawri, Jackie and all the parents are so proud of this team and everything they achieved this 2023 season.
