U3A Wonthaggi has been successful in applying for a grant to put on an event to discuss end of life and dying well, featuring two experts.

Join Assoc Professor Jo Rayner (LaTrobe University) and Lisa Thornhill, Palliative Care Coordinator from Bass Coast Health for a thoughtful and open discussion about how we can approach end-of-life with greater compassion and understanding.

Learn about advance care directives, what local services are provided and about the laws associated with voluntary assisted dying. This is a free event for anyone in the community but please book to help with catering plans.
